I love Valentines Day, but it isn't a holiday that I go all out for decorating. I usually tend to just put a few things on my window ledge in the kitchen. This is what it looks like this year. Nothing fancy! :)

All three projects are cute and inexpensive. The stacking trio hearts were made from some left over 2x4's. I painted the blocks red, then changed my mind and painted them black. I sanded the edges and ended up really liking the red showing through anyways. I mod podged the paper onto the front of the wood and then gave the entire thing a coat of mod podge

The Cubes were mentioned in a previous post (see below this one). The "i love you because..." frame was made after finding a similar idea on pinterest. Such a cute way to remind those we love about the little things that matter. The paper is changeable and the messages are written with a dry erase marker. So cute! Here is a closer look:

Mod Podge scrapbook papers to the sanded and painted cubes. Place vinyl lettering on 5 of the sides, and it makes an adorable Valentines day decoration or gift! Personalized sayings (ie. names/dates or anything special for you) would make it an even more memorable gift. I had one customer say it would be a very unique and creative way for someone to propose. Cute idea!

I have been without a vinyl cutter for a few months now, and I am SO very happy to say that I am up and running again. Finally! I've also been very addicted to Pinterest lately. There are so many amazing ideas to be found. Thanks to Kristy @ next to heaven, I found this great idea for a weekly calendar. Wood + Scrapbook Paper + Mod Podge = Some very cute projects!

I was going through some of my pictures and I found various projects that I may not have added to my blog. This was a super easy-peasy project that ended up looking quite adorable, I think! I bought a pre-cut wood plaque from Walmart and painted it a buttercream color. I chose a few coordinating scrapbook papers and use Mod Podge to adhere them to the wood. After printing out and placing the vinyl lettering on, I brushed a thin coat of Satin finish Mod Podge to seal it.

These Family blocks are made 2.5" wide, and stand at various heights from 4" to 7". Scrapbook papers, vinyl letters and a coat of Mod Podge make this a great addition to your home, or as a gift!

Subway Art for Keurig Coffee/Hot Chocolate Machines

I've been staring at this spot on my Keurig coffee machine for months now, and I've finally come up with what I think is a pretty darn cute subway art design. Although we basically make hot chocolate with this, it was fun to use all those fun words that you may see in your favourite coffee shop. Since most machines are different sizes, custom orders are welcomed!

Scrabble Family Collage

I had so much fun putting this together! I had come across some really nifty old cabinet doors. I used some wood filler to fill in the 'cracks', painted, sanded and...voila...an adorable Scrabble Family Collage. The only thing I am going to change is the words "our" and "family". They are done in burgundy, although you can't really tell. So, I'm going to re-do them, still in burgundy, but have them solid red with the letters taken out. Hard to explain, but I'm sure you understand! I'll re-post the picture when I'm done. I just had to add this picture NOW because I think it's so fun!

I admit, I'm addicted to Mod Podge! This is an 11x14 canvas with various scrapbook papers mod podged to it. I love how it turned out! Finished product is $22. This is a beautiful white tree. I used a layer of matte modge podge over it, which gives a great finished effect.

Live - Laugh - Love - "Reverse" Vinyl Lettering

I used a "reverse" technique with this project. Instead of placing the words and graphics on the wall seperately, I pealed them away, letting the color of my walls show through. This was done in three seperate panels. I love how it turned out!

My family finally has a baby girl to spoil. My brother and his wife had their precious baby Ava Dawn, and I was able to do this room for her "long distance". It is adorable, just like Ava!
